About An Truong

What drives me is the ability to express my love for life and for those around me. I try to express the whirlpool of emotions and thoughts within myself by merging the ideas to the mediums.
Like the fungi that cover the forest floor to the ever-expanding edges of the universe, what emerges from this whirlpool are unpredictable and limitless. As Life has its counterpart in Death, my artwork has its contrasting themes of light and dark, micro and macro, and organic versus inorganic.
I am currently based in California. I received an AA in Arts and Cultures from Sierra College in 2016. I graduated magna cum laude from California State University of Sacramento with a BFA in Art Studio in 2020.
